Some of this material amounts to Making Sense of Bible Stories 101. Other parts of it amount to more believable visions of human origins, cosmology and the like. The Ganymede Hypothesis amounts to a defensible claim to have determined the original home world for modern humans within our system, i.e. Jupiter's largest moon, Ganymede. Ganymede is an icy wasteland now; 60,000 years ago it was a fresh water ocean world, with Jupiter in a close orbit around our sun as is the normal case for gas giant planets and dwarf stars that orbit main sequence stars like our sun in our galaxy.

Venus

A big-picture view of current knowledge of the planet Venus, once thought to be a sister planet of Earth, includes the following facts:

A surface temperature of 850 - 1000 degrees F. and the pitiful spectacle of scientists trying to explain that by a greenhouse theory.
A planetary surface so new as to require scientists to devise a "global resurfacing event" to explain it.

Thus, for instance, rather than claiming that Venus amouonted to matrial that had been ejected from Jupiter as a means of relieving electrical stress,they wrote that the goddess Athena had been born from the head of Zeus...

Likewise the Bible, both testaments, contains a number of stories which involve some kind of logical nexus in such a way that for the story not to be credible would require a violation of logic. My own favorite amongst such is the story of Jesus and the sadducees and their trick question.
